Cloud storage and restoration

Signed-in Free and Pro accounts save records to the cloud and can restore records that reached cloud storage on another signed-in device.

You can use the same account on multiple devices at once. Records still waiting to upload remain only on the device where they were created; if that device is lost, those records cannot be restored from another device.

Getting a copy of your records and service discontinuation

Contact support@reverbnote.com to request a copy of your cloud-saved records. After verifying your registered mailbox with a separate support confirmation code, the Operator manually provides text and dates as JSON and saved photos as JPEG files through an agreed protected transfer method. There is currently no in-app export button. Records that have not reached cloud storage cannot be included. For a planned service discontinuation, we ordinarily give at least 30 days’ notice and keep viewing and copy requests available until the announced end date. The notice will explain purchase and renewal stops, paid-period adjustments, deletion dates, and how long support remains available. Requesting a copy does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.

AI search data choice

Open Settings → AI search data to review what Reverb sends to OpenAI, allow AI-powered meaning search, or withdraw permission. If permission is off, records still save to the cloud and remain available to view, restore, and delete. Search remains unavailable until permission is allowed again.

Subscriptions and refunds

  • App Store purchase: manage or cancel it through Apple subscription management.
  • Google Play purchase: manage or cancel it through Google Play subscriptions.
  • When a completed store purchase is not shown on the current device, open Settings → Subscription help, then choose Restore in RevenueCat Customer Center.
  • Reverb does not currently offer web subscription checkout. Use only the App Store or Google Play purchase screen opened from Reverb.
  • Apple decides App Store refund requests. Google Play purchases follow Google Play’s applicable refund process and policy.

Delete your account and data

While signed in and connected to the internet, select Delete account in Reverb Settings. You cannot request deletion while offline. The requesting device removes local data for the target account and signs out only after the server confirms acceptance. If Reverb cannot confirm acceptance, the requesting device keeps that data and lets you check the same request again.

If you cannot access the application, email support@reverbnote.com with the subject “Reverb account deletion request.” Send the request from the email address associated with the Reverb account when possible; otherwise identify that address in the message. The Operator will reply manually and send a separate support verification code to the registered address. Reply from that mailbox with the same code to verify the request. You will not be required to reinstall Reverb solely to submit the external request.

Cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription separately. Account deletion does not stop store billing.

After verifying an external request, the Operator will confirm the expected completion timing and notify you after processing. The account becomes unavailable after acceptance and is not returned to active status after a temporary deletion failure.

A verified deletion removes Reverb account and authentication records, cloud-stored notes and derived search indexes, the Reverb-side purchase profile, and identified product-analytics data. Information required for law, store transactions, security, temporary backups, or completion of the deletion process may remain only for the applicable limited period.

Other devices are signed out and their account data is locked when they reconnect; their local copies are not remotely erased. To erase one, clear Reverb’s app data with operating-system controls where available, remove Reverb, or erase the device.
